This elegant two-floor apartment in the prestigious area of Punta Romano was designed for a Northern European couple with two distinct visions. While she desired refined elegance and premium finishes, he leaned toward a minimal, contemporary look that captured the essence of Southern Europe and its seaside lifestyle.
The challenge was to find harmony between minimalism and warmth, subtle femininity and Mediterranean character.
To achieve this, we curated a muted, earthy palette of sandy tones, seafoam greens, and warm blush accents, layered with tactile natural fabrics, textured linens, soft woods, and handcrafted accessories. A feminine touch is gently woven throughout — seen in soft silhouettes, handpicked art pieces evoking the female form, and organic curves that echo nature and coastal serenity.
Elements inspired by nearby Morocco — such as sculptural lanterns and warm, golden hues — helped tie the space to its geographical and cultural surroundings, without overwhelming the Scandinavian clarity and calm.
The result is a home that feels serene, sophisticated, and emotionally resonant — a perfect blend of her elegance and his simplicity.
